eeeeyah!!!! and aaaaaaah.....

EEEEEYAH!!!!!!

I had a political drive-by tonight. By my mother. Suffice it to say that I don't take it lightly when someone tells me that they thought I was smarter than that.

Oh, and she's just bewildered
that I don't wanna be Palin when I grow up.

disclaimer: I love my mom. And she loves me. She does. Snort. Sarah Palin.

AAAAAH......

a boy and his dog (just what I needed to calm me down)

I'm related by blood to a couple of Republicans. It's painful, but I have chocolate to help ease the trauma.

Umm, who gave your mom the Kool Aid? Just because she has the same anatomy, doesn't mean you have the same ideology.

The older generation is my biggest fear this election, that "YeHaw, there's a woman on the ballot."

Oh, Boy! Now it starts, huh?

Great picture! Those kinds of pictures are great for being able to regroup. :)

Pallin is not an aspiration, maybe a pause for consternation, or perhaps constipation.

You gots cute dog
Oh, and the boy too!

ouch - that stings when a 'rent says "I thought you were smarter than that" especially when it's something you really believe in. Whatever happened to being happy that your kid is an independent thinker? Parents are so immature sometimes ;)

I can't believe how easy it is to get voters off of the issues and into the culture wars.

So . . . . your mom wants to be a great gramma when Rosey is a teenager? Hmmmm, I thought most parents were against that!
(and isn't it just killing you that we have to endure Canadian politics and mudslinging as well as US? It's political overload for me!)

As a libertarian, you can just imagine how thrilled *I* am.

A drive by from Mom. I had one of those this morning at work.
I would've preferred your conversation over the "you don't call, you've lost weight, you need a haircut" diatribe.

Very cute boy and his dog.

It must be tough--we have relatives in Texas, so I feel your pain.

I actually heard someone admit on the radio today that they'd vote for the woman before they'd vote for the black guy.

I nearly stuck my head through the wall.

What happened to voting on the issues rather than the various body parts????

My sis is proud to be voting for Palin. Makes my head go like this.

Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry. Thank God my parents are Democrats.

How can anyone admit to even THINKING about voting for OUTRIGHT LIARS???? I can't fathom.
