Friend: So do you still vote?

Me: Yes

Friend: So you must be voting for Hillary, huh?

Me: WHAT?

Friend: Well, you were always so liberated, right? So I figured you'd be voting for a woman...was I wrong?

Me: I don't understand. Since her hoo-hoo and mine match, she's automatically the better candidate?

Friend: Well, no. But she's a woman! It's important to all women to have a woman as leader!

Me: Okay, wait a minute. Think about this. So - using your logic - if I was a man, I should vote for the guy with a penis? And probably bonus points for the one with the same color as mine?

Friend: Uh. (thinking about this) That is what I just said, isn't it? (laughs) I guess I need to re-think that. Hey! That'd make a great campaign slogan!

Me: What? Bonus points for the same color as mine?

Friend: No, I need to re-think this.

Me: We could make Hillary a t-shirt!

Friend: You are SO BAD.

I'm not sure you have matching hoo-hoos. Hers must be very gray by now. And after Monica, it may even have teeth.

Thanks funny!

Truth is.....NOW I worry that I'm voting for Obama (and I AM voting for Obama) because he is younger and cooler--like me!

So how is that superior to being a sexist or racist?

I'm an ageist.

(And I also used to smoke weed.....just like him! We're like twins, I tell ya!!!!)

LOL

I HOPE I'm voting for his wit and communication skills.

You know, I get so tired of hearing the media telling everybody (even us non-voting Canadians) who they should vote for in the Deomocratic race, and WHY! That is just crazy. And even crazier...people start to believe this crap and then they start to believe that they've come up with these partial ideas on their own. Crap, I say, CRAP! (A little heated about the whole lamb to slaughter thing...)
And man, there goes any Sunday night nookie that might have transpired over here. (You'll be hearing from my husband.) Thinking of Hilary's hoo-hoo has just about sealed a good read of my book and nothun else!

Sticking my neck out here but I think Hilary's desire to be president at whatever the cost makes her more of a man than most men. I think women would do better with a sensitive new age guy type candidate.

You should change the badge on the sidebar of your blog.

Erm, not being involved in the whole voting debate (being non American and all) all I can say is whoa nelly...

I have to say I'm not wild about either candidate (because Republicans don't count in my book), but I'll probably go with Obama. Hilary has shown that she will say and do anything in order to win, which makes me question her integrity more than I already did.

Okay, in all seriousness, you have hit upon one of my MAJOR peeves in this campaign. Back when we had our primary here in TX, I heard a LOT of comments from women who were Hillary supporters saying that we should vote for her BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN. Um, hello? You call yourselves feminists, and yet you are reducing her to a set of genitals every bit as much as the people who would REFUSE to vote for her BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN!

This has been making me nuts FOR MONTHS.

What you said and what Badger said. And I agree that WP wins the LOL award. Yikes!

Reminds me of something a fellow blogger from the US blogged about. Some idiot journalist said something about black women being in such a unique situation, who to vote for? Their own colour? Or their own sex?

Ridiculous scoffed my friend, (who is both female and black) black women are not the only ones in this situation, so are white men.
