It's been a mixed-up, crazy day.
First, we are now a two-cat household.
Secondly, Rosey's ECD appointment went phenomenally. Her therapist gave me a copy of one of the Hanen books (It Takes Two To Talk) to read and said she thinks R may take some coaching but she doesn't think she'll be a long-term client.
I can't tell you how wonderful that was to hear.
Almost as good as it felt to have my daughter grin at me and say 'Bubbles!'
Guess what we'll be awash in this summer?

Wonderful news! I was so excited to read that.
Now, about the cats. How many did you have yesterday? Ia m trying to decide to congratulate you or offer my condolences. Please accept whichever one it may be!
I am sorry to hear about Panda Bear.
Glad to hear that R's appointment went well. Bring on the bubbles!
Yes, I'm confused about the cats, but I'm guessing that it was bad news? I'm sorry...
Glad to hear the good news about R.
Did you get a new kitty?! How's old kitty taking the addition?
YEAH! For your R-Girl! And a good friend did Hanen last summer, and it changed the entire dymamics of the family. Man, it cost plenty! But was worth it. If you would like to email her, I will see if she would consider it. ANYTHING that gets our little ones talking...
A mix of good and bad news? I'm sorry for your loss.
Congrats to Rosey's exclamation! :)
So sorry for the loss of you cat. That is always so very sad, especially when they have been with you for years.
Very happy about R's news though. She is just being stubborn and one day she will just start giving you the business and you will think back on these days of quiet. Really, I went through that with my boy, wished so hard for him to talk and now I wish so hard for him to just shut up for a minute somedays. ;)
Glad to know the words are coming. My
B has a bit of a bubble obsession right now -- must be the age. Sympathies for the kitty.
That's great news about R. And bubbles is a difficult word so she should be very proud of herself!
Sorry about the cat though.
Okay, do you know about these colored bubbles? The ones I can't think of the name of right now? We MUST find some for R!
I'll start looking right now. Hooray for bubbles! And so very sorry about the kitty.
I'm glad that your daughter's speech assessment went so well! :)
