salsa baby

When I was pregnant with Cass, I ate ice cream. Loads of it. And the kid has a sweet tooth the size of Brooklyn.

With Rosey, I never wanted sweet - only hot and spicy. Thai, Mexican, Japanese, Indian - whatever I could chomp.

And today, Sweet Miss R took a spoon and dipped it into the jar of salsa sitting on the table and slurped it off.

Twice.

("Another one with the iron stomach" Bear groaned.)

Score one for the picante side.

I always wondered if the cravings indicate anything. My mom craved pineapples with me. Unfortunately, she was in Canada in the dead of winter and had to resort to the canned variety. She loves telling me that she'd sit at the window eating pineapple out of a can and crying at the snow. She needs her tropics.

YES!
I have a sugar hound and a spicy hound.
Gotta love that Rosey loves her some salsa!

This baby's doomed. Ring Dings and strawberries. Maybe they'll cancel each other out?
