out and about

I've been driving around a lot lately, back on the way back roads, and I've been seeing some wonderful things:

I don't think I ever saw that windmill. I used to do a lot of driving along the back roads near the south shore at one time.

Witchypoo, Shelagh - It's about a half-kilometer off of the 103, on Italy Cross Road. If you're ever down this way I'll take you to it!

Spanglish - Thanks! I was really happy with the way these came out.

And Chantal, you're right! January seems to hover on the edge of Spring around here - a lot of freezing and thawing going on - and it helps to spy things besides snow and ice!

Ree - I don't know, but I'll try to find out for you! It was on the ground outside of a graveyard, but I'm not sure if it was the old church bell or what....

i love the red building.

i did the same recently, but gosh it's so cold i keep sayin'..."i'll come back in the spring!" i just hope i remember where i was.
