Rosey 2, Tooth Fairy, 0

About a year ago Rosey fell going up the stairs and knocked her tooth out. The ensuing drama made me glad we'd had our share of tooth-problems. It had to be all smooth sailing from here on, right?

RIGHT?

*sigh*

One of Rosey's happy things the last few days has been that her tooth is loose. Her first (honestly) loose tooth! It was a BIG DEAL.

Then she ate an apple today. And swallowed her tooth. Again.

*sigh*
The tooth fairy celebrates ALL teeth, Rosey.
Even the ones in your tummy.

Honest.

Awww. Neil did the same thing with a couple of his teeth. He can vouch for the fact that the Tooth Fairy still shows up.

My guy did the same thing - twice. The first with a bite of pizza and the second during a wrestling match with his dad. He just wrote a note to the tooth fairy explaining it all. Worked like a charm!

Poor Rosey. You need an explanation that covers stomach retrieval clearly, and I believe a magic wand would probably suffice.

hope the visitation went okay. x

Isn't it one of life's unfairnesses that children look cute, even when toothless? Whereas people of my age... no no no.

Sorry about your father-in-law. Life is too short.

Haha. I never realised that parenting required such creativity to solve problems like these. Quite an eye opener.

I hope the tooth fairy was good to her!

Awww So not fair, but what a brilliant idea that the tooth fairy could know it was in her tummy!

I'm not even sure what food group teeth fall into. But I am pretty sure they are high in calcium.

That picture is precious. I've heard that the tooth fairy finds all the teeth and gives them to newborn babies ;)

She's adorable! Both my girls lost their first teeth when they lost them, if you get what I mean. In both cases, the Toothfairy was happy to take an explanatory note in place of a tooth.

YES! And even the ones that go down the drain when Daddy is out of town, and Mom can't get the drain apart!
Faithful tooth fairy finds them there, too.
And - when tooth fairy FORGETS to visit that night, she comes the NEXT night, because she was in Austrailia the night before, yo...

Aww, I'm sure the tooth fairy is gonna get it next time. You're right, she celebrates all kinds of teeth, even dentures and dental implants. Ha ha! Well actually, I haven't read or heard yet of a person here in Atlanta, GA who's had a lose dental implant, but I sure hope that she replaced them with money too. Since those titanium objects are worth a lot, the fairy might also leave some big money for them.

Whole lot of nothing going on

Last week, I got covid. For the third time, and this one was unpleasant in ways that I don't really want to talk about. (Life tip: NO ...
