Miss Girl is now officially registered and orientated for Primary come September. I'm sure I wasn't the only parent there who filled out the paperwork and smiled at all the teachers with a lump in their throat, either.

Aw, so cute. Both of my sons started school with a wave of the hand and nary a backwards glance. I'm not saying I wanted them to be upset but a little show of regret at leaving mum's side would have been nice........
It seems we're both feeling that sadness... it's so much fun experiencing how they grow and watching them learn, but so sad that it happens so, so quickly.
And she's so darned pretty!
HA! Was she ever a chunk! Look at those eyes. They haven't changed a bit, have they? Isn't that amazing!
It's such an exciting time, yet so...different. Altering. And it happens too fast!!
She's gorgeous. Such an old soul.
Look at your gorgeous girl all growed up. Man, do you think you'll be howling like a baby on the actual first day of school? I know I did!
Awe man she is so beautiful. who is gonna sniffle the most when she steps on da bus u or Bear. Just dont get run over dancing in da middle of da road with glee.

Why does it seem to go so fast? She's so sweet and her smile is beautiful.
FTR, I'm not getting all teary over our registration either. Not one lick (*wipes away leak from eye area*)
She's beautiful. I was fine signing them up. I swore that I wouldn't cry on their first day of school. I lied.
Awww. Who's the proud mom then?
I cried going to the preschool open house last year.. I know how you feel... although DH is taking her on the first day of kindergarden... Wonder if he will cry??

That wonderful wonderful smile! She will always have it!
Don't worry, school is AWESOME. You're both going to LOVE it. (And I'm not usually a caps kinda girl.)
