poorly phrased

I'm sure there's some way I could make this funnier:

Today was trash day. As I drove through town, I realized: every trash day, the cemetery's green compost bin gets pushed out to the curb, emptied, and replaced.

Which begs the question: What, exactly, are they composting??

I can't even begin to guess.

I once saw a pizza delivery person pull out of a cemetery. I wonder who ordered?

Please say grass. Or dead flowers.

Oh, it's probably the new enviro friendly green death package that we'll pay some crazy amount of money for so that we might be so so smart and realize (finally) that we have to save the earth. Ya, that or grass.
