I love playing in the snow, but we definitely don't get as much now as we did when I was a kid. My dad used to give me "flying lessons" where he'd launch me off the back deck into a pile of snow. I loved every second of it.
We just had storms upon storms, so some snow would be lovely. Mind you blue skies today and not a hint of wind. Hurrah! (still jealous about the snow though)

Lovely photos -- I so miss the snow. I would prefer winter be super mild, like southern CA mild, or snowy, but chilly miserable rain just sucks.
