I used to call that motion "sleeping like a helicopter". My youngest still does it.
Kells did that too. It was as if he his night was not successful if he did not awaken with the imprint of bars on his cheeks. Bizarre.
Lily moves a lot in her crib as well. You can hear thrashing on the monitor numerous time throughout the night. I plan to keep her in the crib as long as possible for I fear that in a bed, even with siderails, she will surely be falling on the floor.
