rocks and ice
It's still cold here. But February has a way of sending hints of warmer breezes that soothe your soul. There are more birds around - they sing louder now, and talk among themselves cheerily in the mornings. At night, there are more stars, so close you could almost touch them....it makes up for the alternate mud/frozen slush, and the way the walks are all ice underfoot.
Spring will come. Soon.

We can see March:)It is 13 days away and then it's a skip to April!
Last night we had a rare snow dusting. This morning everything looked so pretty... Zoey loved it, but all the same I am so looking forward to daffodils and dandelions.
True. In spring I trust.
Spring likes to tease us here. We have a thaw every February and believe that spring is coming. Then winter says "gotcha!" and hangs around til April. Sigh.
I keep forgetting to tell you I sit next to a lady in choir from your neck of the woods. She is lovely. If she is any example of the people who live there it sounds like a pretty skippy place to live.I imagine it is cheaper than Connecticut too! *LOL*
I'm counting on it, too. You say it much more eloquently.
No, it won't. I have it on good authority.
