Cass, out in the kitchen, begging to be able to plug in the toaster by himself:
"But Mom! I'm such a chef with toast and cereal!"
and while he and I were enthusiastically debating his turning on electrical appliances without me there, Rosey ran in with the tv remote. Pointing it at my chest, she whammed on the buttons.

Fantastic. I think I watch too much tv too though, because I've often wished for a volume control on my kids. And definitely a mute button.
Too clever!
Kids are just too damn smart these days!

lol! They're both so cute :)
Fantastic!

Funny girl. I wish I had a remote to turn down the volume of the people in my life.
That's hilarious!!! Lord knows it would be an awesome feature if it worked ON the kids!
With you standing there speechless she probably figured she'd succeeded beyond her wildest dreams. she didn't just turn you down, she turned you off!
I don't like remotes, but I could really use one of these after Rosie patents it and makes it commercially available. Which will, incidentally help her to make your old age very comfy....
Wouldn't it be great to have a remote control on life..to be able to rewind and fast forward...and for the noisy times....mute!
heee...

She's cute!
